Antoine L'Estage wins Rallye Défi for record-setting eighth time

Sainte Agathe, QUEBEC, September 7, 2014 – Antoine L'Estage (St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC) and Alan Ockwell (Toronto) of the Yokohama Canada Rally Team won the 2014 edition of the Rallye Défi by winning all but two stages of the event. The result marks L'Estage's eighth victory in the last ten editions.

“It's been a textbook rally for us,” said L'Estage. “We did have some problems with the car today, so we had to turn down the boost to make sure it stayed reliable to the finish.

Rallye Defi Day 1 update

The first day of action at the 2014 Rallye Défi was marked by rough conditions on the opening stages, followed by short, punch sprints through the afternoon and early evening. Antoine L'Estage and Alan Ockwell of the Yokohama Rally Team Canada took control of the event early in the day, charging through the rough conditions of the Montcalm and Lac-des-Plages stages.

July 2014 President's Update

Presidents Update - July 2014

This summer has been extremely busy for me with events in the US and Canada. Early in July I competed in the Ontario Regional Black Bear Rally with Will Hudson in his Team O’Neil supported R2 Fiesta, then the following weekend I was in New Hampshire and Maine doing the NEFR in another R2 Fiesta. Conducting CARS board meetings from my hotel room and writing minutes on my Ipad makes for a tough slog, so hopefully you can excuse me for being a little late with my quarterly update.

L'Estage and Ockwell win Rallye Baie des Chaleurs

New Richmond, QUEBEC, June 29, 2014 – Antoine L'Estage (St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC) and Alan Ockwell (Toronto) of the Yokohama Canada Rally Team won the 2014 Rallye Baie des Chaleurs in their first event together. The two built a lead early on the first day and managed their advantage to a record sixth victory at the second round of the Canadian Rally Championship.
